The main purpose and tasks of SUE “Tax-service”.

   State unitary enterprise “Tax-servis” (hereinafter referred to as the “Enterprise”), based on the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 26, 2018 No. PQ-3802 in Russian – Tax Committee) was established on the basis of the state unitary enterprise “Republic Information and Consultation Center” and “Tax Declarations Processing Center”.

  The main purpose of the enterprise’s activity is to provide technical assistance to taxpayers in fulfilling their tax obligations in the implementation of the activities of the tax service authorities and its regional departments within the framework of the powers assigned to it, as well as service to taxpayers in receiving reports and declarations is to provide practical assistance to the tax service authorities.

The following are the main tasks and areas of activity of the enterprise:

  • technical assistance to taxpayers in fulfilling their tax obligations;
  • providing practical assistance to tax payers and state tax service authorities in receiving financial and tax reports and declarations;
  • management of the technical, software and information supply of the automated information system of the state tax service bodies;
  • organization of centralized archiving of documents resulting from the activities of state tax service bodies in paper and electronic form;
  • providing information services to taxpayers through the special “call-center” service;
  • training taxpayers on the rules of electronic invoicing, providing them with tax legislation;
  • implementation of information protection measures;
  • participation in improving the knowledge and skills of employees of the state tax service;
  • providing interactive services to taxpayers through the website portal;
  • providing tax payers with information and consulting services related to tax legislation;
  • in order to improve the quality of service provided by the enterprise to taxpayers, providing some processes of its activity to other enterprises on the basis of outsourcing contracts;
  • ensuring continuous operation of software products (mobile applications), expanding their capabilities and regularly improving them;
  • assistance in quick and convenient implementation of tax and other payments by individuals;
  • registration, analysis and control of receipts for goods (works, services) purchased by individuals and ensuring the return of “cashback” payments;
  • assisting foreign citizens in returning the amount of VAT paid on certain goods purchased by them;
  • assisting foreign citizens in registering online cash register checks provided by retail organizations in a special mobile application of tax authorities;
  • providing foreign citizens with detailed information about the “Tax free” system, explaining the procedures related to the return of the VAT amount;
  • verifying the accuracy of information on checks with fiscal marks registered by foreign citizens in the special mobile application of tax authorities in the previous calendar month and orders regarding the amount of VAT returned on them;
  • development of proposals for the further improvement of the “Tax free” system by studying international best practices.

Also, the Enterprise may perform other types of activities that are not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Branches and representative offices of the enterprise work on behalf of the enterprise based on the charter approved by the enterprise.
